Dansville, established in 1795, is rich in history & natural beauty. There is pride in the village as it can claim the 1st Chapter of the American Red Cross, started in 1881 by Clara Barton. Home of the New York State Festival of Balloons and the largest hill climb in the country is hosted in Poags Hole in August.
