Opening Reception for Exhibit: Celebrations 2017
Spend your holidays supporting local artists and craftspeople at the Arts Center of Yates County’s annual gift-giving exhibition, Celebrations. Join the Arts Center for an opening reception on Sunday, November 26, from 1:00 – 3:00PM. Enjoy refreshments and sip specialty seasonal hard ciders from Star Cider in Geneva, New York, while perusing this exclusive show of perfect holiday gifts.
This fun, holiday exhibition features artwork by some of your favorite local artists and unique, one-of-kind artwork created to be the perfect gift for your special loved one. Celebrations will feature work by:
- Tairi Detwiler - Fun and seasonally painted gourds and glass beaded wine stoppers.
- Shanna Fiorucci - Animal and nature inspired, unique hand embroidered wall hangings and clothing.
- Kay Howard - Hand crafted porcelain ornaments for the holiday season.
- Mandy Ranck - Lighthearted ceramic animal wall hangings and ceramic dinnerware to enhance the home and holiday.
- Dan LoFurno - Your favorite metal sculptor returns with more wacky garden sculptures and gorgeous, hand painted dragonflies from found metal scrap.
- Sally Thomas - Porcelain and ceramic ware uniquely designed using found object patterns and lovely glazes.
- Peachie Originals - Intricate art puzzles individually cut by hand, sanded, stained and painted, perfect for that special kid in your life.
- Jeremiah Unterman - Add sparkle to someone’s life with lovingly hand blown glass ornaments, vases and bowls to add some sparkle.
