Historic Palmyra’s Pirates of the Erie Canal invade the Village and Port of Palmyra, New York during the 11th annual Palmyra Pirate Weekend, August 11-12, 2017, bearing a boatload of family-friendly fun for all ages.  Bed racing, Jolly Roger 5K, Pirate Kazoo Band Parade, children’s treasure hunt, canal trail tours, Historic Palmyra pirate tales and museum tours are just a few of the exciting events featured in this year’s celebration of Palmyra’s canal connection. 

Join the Pirates in welcoming the Corn Hill Navigation's Sam Patch, a replica 1800s canal packet boat, on Saturday, August 12 for Erie Canal cruises departing from the Port of Palmyra Marina! Details coming soon!

GMC Software Pillage ‘N the Village Bed Race Regatta returns, streaking straight through the heart of the historic Main Street business district.  Five-person pirate crews will compete head-to-head against other speedy scallywags and scoundrels for a cash prize and other awards. Just bring your five-person team and we'll outfit you with a bed ready to roll! The Jolly Roger 5K run/jog/walk also returns on its certified 5K Erie Canal course. This event raises funds for Pal-Mac High School’s award winning Select Choir, who will be performing at Carnegie Hall next year.

LNB Music at the Marina on Aug. 12 with local sensation, Sam Nitsch, heard recently at the Rochester Music Hall of Fame Awards show, Corn Hill and Park Ave Festivals, Little Theatre Cafe, and more. Sponsored by Lyons National Bank.
