Beaches & Parks
Emerson Park at the north end of the lake on Route 38A has swimming, picnic areas, ball fields and boat launch facilities. A shelter and pavilion are available for rent.
Fillmore Glen State Park at the south end of Moravia offers hiking trails, and unique geological formations, including five waterfalls. The park has 60 campsites, a stream-fed swimming pool and fishing in the Owasco Lake inlet.
Marinas & Boat Launches
There is a boat launch at Emerson Park and one at Owasco Flats on Route 38. This is located on the south end of the lake and is a preserve with trails for hiking, fishing.
Things to do on Owasco Lake
Visit the Emerson Park Merry-Go-Round Theatre during the summer months or the Ward O’Hara Agricultural Museum on Route 38A across from Emerson Park, a collect of farm equipment in the mid-1900's.
