Exhibit to Feature the Best of 49 Artists

Some of the best work by artists from around the region will be featured in the Arts Center of Yates County’s Third Annual Juried Art Exhibit, opening on Friday, June 9th at the Arts Center.  The work to be shown was chosen from 135 images submitted for consideration for the show.  In a juried art show, a judge decides which pieces to accept and, once hung, the art work is then judged again, with prizes awarded in various categories.

Summer Patio Parties Begin May 25 at Casa Larga Vineyards

Tour Explores 19th Century Food and Eating at Rose Hill Mansion

Geneva, N.Y.: The Geneva Historical Society's special food-focused tour, A Taste of Rose Hill, will run on the third Tuesday of the month during the 2017 season at Rose Hill Mansion. The tour explores the history of food consumption and production during the Swan family's residency at Rose Hill from 1850 to 1890. Finger Lakes Boating Museum Announces New Exhibits

On May 27th the Finger Lakes Boating Museum will introduce to the public a new exhibit designed to transport visitors to the shore of a Finger Lake. Artists, Cynthia Hill and Colleen Pastore, assisted by Hammondsport High School art students and volunteers have transformed the walls of an exhibit hall into a Finger Lakes shoreline view complete with docks, pilings, seagulls and vineyards.
