July 31 Joe Crookston and the Bluebird Jamboree
(July 23, 2010, Trumansburg, NY) Next Saturday Taughannock Falls State Park fourth concert in the series is features Joe Crookston and the BlueBird Jamboree. The BlueBird Jamboree is a revolving cast of musical characters including Ithaca’s own Peter Glanville on Tenor guitar; Greg Klyma, the Rust belt Vagabond from Buffalo, NY on electric guitar and mandolin; Jason Rafalak and Brad Yoder from Pittsburgh PA laying down double bass and soprano saxophone harmonies. Joe Crookston writes the songs, jumps up and down and sings with everything he’s got while the BlueBird Jamboree creates the textures, harmonies and rolling sonic landscape.
2010 Summer Concert Series highlighting our rich local talent is now in its 32nd year. It is one of the most popular events in the region, with a wide variety of high quality music performed on the shore of beautiful Cayuga Lake. The concerts take place at 7:00 p.m. on seven consecutive Saturday evenings from July 10th through August 21th.
The 2010 Concert Series continues with the following performers:

August 14 Steve Johnson Band Americana
August 21 Jorge T. Cuevas and the Caribe Jazz All Stars Latin Jazz
The concerts are held on the south lawn at Taughannock Falls State Park off of NYS Route 89 in Trumansburg, New York. Bring your picnics, blankets and lawn chairs and get ready to enjoy an evening of music. The concert parking fee is just $5.00 per carload. Finger Lakes wines will be available by the glass and by the bottle from the Cayuga Wine Trail.
