Ithaca, NY 14850- July 2012 at Rasa Spa. Expanding within its original location, Rasa Spa hopes to
support rest, restoration, and wellness.
By growing within it's original space, Rasa is mirroring a belief that real change and healing begins
within.

This is Rasa Spa's second phase of growth. Last summer, Rasa added a location at Community Corners
in an effort to be more accessible and available to the local community and to partner more completely
with Island Health and Fitness. The Community Corners location supports a fit and active lifestyle with
sports massage and bodywork intended to work in collaboration with exercise and sports.

Ultimately, Rasa is looking to give back to the community. Rachel Hogancamp, Rasa's Spa Director,
looked around and saw a need for more therapies for a wider range of clients, more community
engagement and conversation, and more room to support these wide-reaching goals. The staff has a lot
to offer, the spa has a lot to deliver, and the Rasa needed a bit more s-p-a-c-e.

More space for more supportive care. This summer, Rasa's cancer-care therapies and treatments,
including Lymphatic Drainage and a refined Oncology Massage, are expanding. Rasa Spa's staff and
boutique, likewise, are delivering education and products that nourish the body and skin, provide sun
protection, and avoid ingredients that could be linked to cancer. Whole and pure ingredients with the
most direct purchasing possible is part of Rasa's commitment to caring for patients in all stages of
health and well-being.

A new blog is actively curating more digital space. The blog is part of Rasa's real passion for deeply
engaging the community in educated and thoughtful conversation about whole and natural healing.
Rasa's new blog aspires to be a source anyone can turn to with questions; a place to create active,
engaged, and informed dialogues. The blog can be viewed at http://rasaspa.com/blog, and Rasa's
Facebook and Twitter accounts help to keep the conversation going as well. It is Rasa's belief that
digital media works best when is sustains connectivity and nourished, informed conversations.

To house all of this change and ready Rasa Spa for continued growth, Rasa spent the month of June
2012 with on-site construction at the Island Health and Fitness downtown location. This construction
creates room for health education, ongoing wellness programs, and a place for Finger Lakes locals and
visitors to rest and recharge. Keeping its eye for aesthetics, the new construction will maintain Rasa's
warm, inviting and soothing features. The space is carefully crafted to serve the specific needs of each
individual find a path toward optimum health and wellness.

Rasa Spa is proud to announce its conscious growth to treat, empower, and educate guests about taking
charge of personal well-living. This development is for the Finger Lakes, for the community and
because of their support and generosity.
