Currently, I am a college student, working part time as waitress. Being a waitress has allowed me to really appreciate all of the aspects involved in going out to dinner. I live in the town of Penn Yan, which offers a variety of dining options. Some of my favorite places to go to eat in Penn Yan include The Wagner, Lloyds, Pizza Hut and The Essenhaus. I have been to all of these places recently and I have had enjoyable experiences at each one.

•    The Wagner is a friendly diner that offers amazing breakfast and lunch items. The Wagner is the hot spot in town on Sunday mornings after church. My favorite thing to have here is the cinnamon French Toast made with their delicious homemade bread. Yum!
•    Lloyds is a local bar on Main Street. It is the most popular place to be on Wednesday nights for their “wing night.” Lloyds has a cozy and casual atmosphere including bench and bar seating along with many televisions.
•    Pizza Hut may be a chain restaurant but it is also an inexpensive, family friendly pizzeria. Their bread sticks before pizza and cinnamon sticks after pizza is a perfect three course meal for an everyday family.
•    Get everything done at one place! The Essenhaus is a fine dining restaurant that also has a bakery and a gift shop. The Essenhaus truly offers a wide variety of foods but you can’t forget their delicious baked goods including: bread, cookies, pastries, pies, cakes, and more. And why not pick up a card and a present for an upcoming birthday while you’re there?

    I truly recommend these restaurants for anyone looking for a scrumptious place to eat in Penn Yan!
