Attend with FLTA! – Upcoming Shows Tailored to Shoppers and Travelers Across the US!

Join FLTA at a consumer show in the coming months. Partners can join FLTA at shows where consumers are looking to gather travel ideas. The Travel & Vacation Show in Ottawa takes place in April. The Connecticut Women’s Expo in Hartford Connecticut takes place in September, and the Toronto Show in Toronto Ontario takes place in November. There are a couple of options on how to join FLTA at these shows. As a booth sponsor partners can personally attend the show with FLTA, speak with show attendees, and pass out literature or promotional items one-on-one with attendees.  As a thank you for joining us at the show as a booth sponsor, your business will receive the contact information for those who enter to win a FLTA provided sweepstakes.

The second level of participation at shows is cost effective for smaller businesses. Brochure distribution at shows will ensure that your business materials and/or marketing promotional items will get into potential visitors hands and no cost is incurred to travel to the show. Social Media Continues to Grow – Pin with Us

The new social media trend Pinterest is a fun network of visual wonder with content to link directly to a website. Pinterest is a social media network where users can create digital corkboards under a variety of headings, ie Tasty Things I Want to Eat, Places to Visit, and Fun Stuff. After creating these digital corkboards, users called Pinners can browse through images posted by their friends and tack these images on to one of their own boards. In an effort to collect more images and have fun and unique content we otherwise wouldn’t have been aware of, FLTA is calling on our partners to help ‘Pin’ to our Pinterest boards. FLTA’s boards consist of the following categories. Group Tour Planner Preparations Are Under Way

Every year, FLTA sees an increase in group tours coming to the Finger Lakes.  Whether it’s a 25 passenger Red Hat Society group bus, a large family reunion, a conference of wine enthusiasts or multiple 55 passenger coaches from a major metropolitan city, it seems like everyone wants to enjoy the beauty and excitement of the Finger Lakes!  Every two years, FLTA produces a Group Travel Planner so that when groups visit, large or small, our Group Friendly partners are on the minds of these travel planners. This planner is mailed out and placed in the hands of key decision makers in the group travel market. 1,500 guides are produced and distributed prior to the planning season.
