Group Travel - How to Guarantee Your Business Gets in Front of Hundreds of Key Decision Makers in the Group Travel Industry
It's time again!! Every two years FLTA produces our Group Travel Planner, a key resource for leaders and decision makers in the group travel/tour industry. As an added benefit of your FLTA Partnership, your business can be included NO COST with a basic text listing. This publication is not a fit for all businesses, so should your business want to be included, watch for an optional survey for text listings, that will be sent out around the July 2016 timeframe to get your business's information included. 1,200 Group Travel Planners will be printed in the fall of 2016 which FLTA will distribute to key contacts in the group travel market that FLTA has developed relationships with.

Finger Lakes Map and Mini Guide Now Available & Early 2017 Literature & Brochure Exchange Date
THANK YOU to all the partners who attended this year's annual Literature & Brochure Exchange at Waterloo Premium Outlets. The weather was wonderful thousands of 2016 Finger Lakes Regional Travel Guides and 2016 Map and Mini Guides were distributed. This year, 75,000 Map and Mini Guides were produced in a larger format that will make wayfinding across the Finger lakes even easier! If you weren't able to attend the Literature & Brochure Exchange, FLTA travel guides and Map and Mini Guides are still available for you! Thank you for all of the positive feedback as well as the constructive feedback. Some suggestions were made about changing the date for the Literature & Brochure Exchange. Your feedback is important to us! The FLTA Marketing Committee did discuss partner feedback about moving the date of the Literature & Brochure Exchange. Unfortunately, for a variety of logistical reasons, the Marketing Committee determined that the 3rd Wednesday in May accommodates for the largest number of partner attendees. Mark your calendars early for the 2017 Literature & Brochure Exchange to take place Wednesday, May 17th, 2017!!

Learn how to be in the know! In case you haven't heard, FLTA is offering opportunities for partners to have one on one meetings with FLTA's newly promoted Communications Specialist, Dan Stokes, to determine ways to truly maximize their FLTA partnership and experience. Help Desk opportunities allow partners to explore their FLTA account capabilities, discuss Google Analytics tactics, understand cooperative opportunities and more. FLTA will be scheduling Help Desks throughout the Finger Lakes region, so be sure to be on the lookout for a Help Desk opportunity coming to your community in the near future. Finger Lakes Featured in AAA Upcoming Itineraries
FLTA's friendly and very knowledgable AAA vendor, Dan Belliveau has been on the road throughout the past months visiting AAA offices speaking with agents about the Finger Lakes region. Dan recently provided FLTA with a list of AAA offices including multiple branches out of Pennsylvania that were offering group and solo itineraries to the Finger Lakes region for sightseeing and craft beverage experiences. AAA is offering an individual traveler experience itinerary for 'Finger Lakes Wine & Waterfalls' at the end of September. As a group itinerary Pennsylvania AAA offices are offering trips for the clients including 'Autumn in the Finger Lakes' in October, and 'Finger Lakes Wine and Ale Trail' in November.
