2014 Billing…. It’s That Time of the Year

Sometime early in August you will receive your annual invoice from FLTA for your 2014 Partnership and for some of your programming that your business takes advantage of each year.  We are happy to report that there will be NO INCREASE in partnership rates and most programming options for 2014. To reserve your placement in the coming year, this invoice will reflect the partnership levels and programs that you utilized in 2013. We remain singularly focused on promoting your business as a must-see destination in the Finger Lakes region.  We are privileged to work with you and as always thank you for your support and participation with us.  Of course, if you have any questions about your billing, want to make any changes to your programming, or would just like to review it with us – including payment options (payment plans are available!) – give us call anytime. As an FLTA Partner you have full control of the information that is being put in front of hundreds of thousands of potential Finger Lakes visitors. As an FLTA partner, you have direct access to a account that was issued to you when you joined the organization.  This account, or partner log in as we like to call it, allows you to have full control of the editing of your business listing on our web site You can update your business information (telephone, address, email, website, etc), change and update photos on the page, and add events to our very popular events page.  You can also promote special offerings and any press releases. Add a coupon to the highly trafficked coupons page and review your Travel Guide listing (yes, 2014 travel guide season is right around the corner! Speaking of web sites and all their wonders ---we ask all of our Partners to be certain that your visitors can reach and access from your site.  Without getting into all of the technical jargon of computer-speak, it helps both your website and ours if you place a link to on your web site.  It also helps the visitor to your site as they plan their visit to the region.  If your web site is serviced by a web master, let them know you want a link to on your site.  You can do it yourself by using the link and adding this link directly to a text page within your site. Every season is great in the Finger Lakes—but summer is when we really shine.  As busy as you are at this time of year, make sure you take advantage of all the wonderful offerings within our great region.  Grab a copy of the FLTA Travel Guide and pick a destination or attraction that you have never been to in the region.  There is an almost endless selection of things to do and see (not to mention great places to eat and stay).  Challenge yourself to take a well-deserved break and enjoy the region!  See the Finger Lakes through a tourist’s eyes; you will be a better representative of the region as a result of the experience!
