Geneva Historical Society to Host Homeschool Program February 26

The Geneva Historical Society will host Village Life in the Finger Lakes, an educational program for homeschooling families, at the Geneva History Museum on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Families can visit stations throughout the museum featuring hands-on activities exploring Finger Lakes' life in the 1800s. Topics will include music, transportation, schooling, and fun and games. The program is aligned with the New York State standards in Social Studies and designed primarily for children in grades Kindergarten through 6. Families with children of all ages are welcome to attend, as there will be activities geared towards younger learners as well.
 
The program costs $5 per child for age 5 and up. Adults and younger siblings are free. Advance registration is required and space is limited. To reserve a space call or email Anne Dealy at the Geneva Historical Society at 315-789-5151 or adealy@genevahistoricalsociety.com.
 
The Geneva Historical Society is located in the Prouty-Chew House at 543 South Main Street in Geneva, NY. Parking is on the street or in the Trinity Episcopal Church lot across the street.
