2008 Handgun Classes At Bass Pro Shops
Auburn(January 16, 2008) – Bass Pro Shops Sportsman's Center in the Fingerlakes Mall will hold a series of handgun classes throughout the year so that anyone qualified in getting certified to carry a pistol permit can do so. The classes will start in January and run each month until June, and start back up again in September. Anyone interested in taking the class needs to call the Onondaga Police Academy at 498-6046 to register. There is also a $25 fee that needs to be paid as well. The classes will be held in the store's seminar room and taught by Ralph Gray. Class hours are from 6-9 pm. The classes will usually be held during the year on the last Tuesday of the month, with a few months having exceptions. The upcoming schedule is as follows:
