Fulkerson Winery Celebrates the 20th Anniversary with the
Release of a New Logo and New Wine Labels
Dundee (January 28, 2008) – January 25, 2008 – In 1989, Sayre and Nancy Fulkerson opened Fulkerson Winery with the release of there 1988 vintage wines. For 20 years they have built on that first year a new family farm tradition with several building expansions and more vineyard acreage. “The future is bright for the winery and the farm. It is great to look back and see what we have accomplished in only 20 years,” said Sayre Fulkerson.
Fulkerson Winery is also pleased to introduce our new logo and new wine labels during our 20th Anniversary year. The first wine release begins with the ever anticipated 2007 Matinee wine, made from seedless Himrod and Lakemont grapes. This sweet white wine retails for $13.99 a bottle and is approximately 7% alcohol is expected to be released in February 2008. The new wine label design will continue the use of the “Seneca Lake, Day Scene” watercolor painted by famed Rochester artist Dick Kane. The fresh and bold logo that appears on all of our wines and promotional material going forward allows for a sophisticated and elegant image to come to the for-front as the winery celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2008.
Fulkerson Winery was founded in 1989 by Sayre and Nancy Fulkerson. The Fulkerson Farm was established in 1805 by Caleb Fulkerson, a veteran of the Revolutionary War. Fulkerson Winery is excited and positive about our future sales and growth potential. The winery currently produces 26 different wines, including ten unique Dry Red Wines, to which over 15,000 cases of Fulkerson wine are produced each year. The market for our award winning wines stretches throughout New York State, from New York City to Buffalo. We also distribute our wines in Florida, Illinois, Iowa and Virginia and gladly ship too many of our loyal customers in reciprocal shipping states across the United States.
