Walking in a Winter Winery Land

Seneca Falls, NY (February 7, 2008) – Got Cabin Fever? We’ve got the solution. Join Montezuma Winery and the Montezuma Audubon Center as they present Walking in a Winter Winery Land on Saturday, February 23, 2008 from 10:30am-2:30pm. Enjoy Birds of a Feather, Wines from the Vine, & Lunch after a Snowy Good Time.

The day starts at Montezuma Winery with Frank Moses, Director of the Audubon Center who will take you on a guided nature hike on snow shoes through a portion of the refuge bird watching and tracking animals. Participants are invited to bring their own snow shoes or rentals are available on a first come first serve basis (snow shoes are not required for hiking).

Then come back to the winery to warm up with mulled wine or hot chocolate followed by a winemaker’s luncheon paired with Montezuma Winery wines. Following lunch will be a live bird presentation by a local bird rehabber featuring a Grey Horned Owl and Kestrel.

Admission is by reservation only prior to Feb 20th. Cost is $10/person without snow shoes and $15/person with snow show rental. Kids under 12 are $5 without snow shoes and $8 with snow show rental. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Montezuma Audubon Center. Call Montezuma Winery at 315-568-8190 to purchase your tickets.
