Heineken 93Q Balloon Fest Welcomes Beagle Maximus

Jamesville, NY (March 5, 2008) – When the 29th annual Heineken 93Q Balloon Fest comes Jamesville Beach Park this June, a new special shape balloon will be taking to the skies. The Beagle Maximus, from Balloonatic Promotions of Orlando Florida, will join the dozens of other event favorites that fly each year such as Uncle Sam; Balloon Hilda, a giant witch on her broomstick and Pokey the Turtle.

The Beagle Maximus, aka Max, is the newest balloon flown by Ken Shumate, the owner of the Orlando based company. Shumate has flown his arsenal of balloons, which includes all sizes and shapes, for over 27 years throughout the United States, Canada and New Zealand. He is a certified flight instructor and has trained over 49 pilots.

The Heineken 93Q Balloon Fest will be held Friday-Sunday, June 13-15 at Jamesville Beach Park and will include five balloon flights, national and local non-stop musical entertainment, family friendly activities and amusement rides. Balloon sponsorship opportunities are still available, for more information call 435-5252 or visit www.SyracuseBalloonFest.com.
