Explore some of the oddest, wackiest, and most puzzling toys of all time in the new What Were They Thinking? display opening April 1 near The Strong Express. View head-scratching artifacts from the museum’s collections—including the Daddy Saddle, engineered for a child to turn a parent into a human pony; the Big Time Nose Around ring toss, which uses the sharp features of former President Richard Nixon to catch the ring; and Jarts lawn darts, barbed projectiles banned in 1988 by the Consumer Product Safety division. Included with general museum admission fees.

Superheroes Weekend

You will receive a wine glass, a garden plan and a plant carrier at your starting point winery plus potted herb or veggie plants from each winery. As you savor herb-prepared cuisine, sip our fine wines and make sure to take home the recipes so that you can be the highlight at your next get together with these great recipes. Fourth Annual Bed and Breakfast Tour

The Arts Center of Yates County is pleased to announce that the fourth annual Bed and Breakfast Tour will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015, from 11:00AM to 5:00PM. This year’s tour will feature five unique and varied B&B’s in the Keuka Lake and Seneca Lake areas, including the Country Comforts B&B, Tudor Hall, Steamboat Castle, New Vines and Weaver View Farms. Artists will be showcasing their works at each B&B. Tickets will be available at the Arts Center, 127 Main Street in Penn Yan (Monday-Saturday 10:00AM – 5:00PM. Tickets cost $28.00 per person if ordered in advance, $25.00 group rate for three or more tickets ordered in advance, and $32.00 the day of the tour.
