2013 - The East side of Seneca Lake is known for great wines, exceptional local cuisine, and beautiful vistas that accompany each winery. As supporters of the arts, Damiani Wine Cellars, Atwater Estate Vineyards, Leidenfrost Vineyards, Sheldrake on Seneca, and ARTe invite art and wine lovers to the 2nd Annual Plein Air Art Festival.
Between 7am and 3pm on July 27th, 2013 the public is invited to visit each winery location to watch the artists live at work. Then after 5pm, an opening reception and silent art auction will begin at Damiani Wine Cellars in Burdett, NY. The reception runs from 5-9 and is open to all ages. Food from local farmers and food vendors, non-alcoholic beverages and wine tastings from each participating winery will be available. Enjoy live jazz while you browse and bid on the plein air art work produced that day. The silent auction will end at 8pm, however the festival will continue until 9pm. Come enjoy the sunset and join our celebration of local wine, jazz, food and art! A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, July 28th.
