Lakewood Vineyards Wine Tasting at the Inns of Aurora
Winemakers from Lakewood Vineyards will be pouring wines at a complimentary tasting on the lakeside veranda at the Aurora Inn. Light refreshments will be provided.
Fulkerson Winery 24th Anniversary Party
Come one, come all, and join us for the party of the summer! A delicious barbeque spread will be available for purchase by the plate as well as Fulkerson wines and Finger Lakes beer. Nonalcoholic drinks will be available too. Put on your dancin' shoes, the band Agonal Rhythm from Geneva, NY will be here to get you on your feet. Sample The Susquehanna
Experience the calm and scenic waters of the Southern Tier's premier river. With a gentle flow and relaxed pace this 6 mile kayak tour is well suited for all abilities. This historic section of the river also provides an opportunity for viewing many species of birds, including a nesting pair of bald eagles. Our professional guides will accompany you down the river providing a safety orientation, kayaking basics and fun! Equipment and a shuttle bus ride back to your vehicle at the end of the tour are included. $50 per person. 1-5 pm.

Syracuse Nationals Classic Car Show

Farm-to-Table Wine & Cooking Class Tour
Our wine and cooking class series is offered once each month throughout the year. This event includes an intimate wine tasting at a notable Finger Lakes winery, a local farm experience, and an intimate cooking class with regional chef Samantha Buyskes. Immerse yourself in the bounty of the Finger Lakes. On this one-of-a-kind culinary wine tour, you will create your own Finger Lakes meal from the ground up. We start our morning with a visit to a Finger Lakes working farm, such as one of the dairy With the goats at Lively Run Dairyfarms featured on the Finger Lakes Cheese Trail, or an organic produce farm. Here, you will tour and taste the bounty right from the source, and then enjoy it again later as an ingredient in your cooking class meal. You might even make some new animal friends along the way. Next, we make our way to Silver Thread Vineyards, you Enjoying Tank Samples at Sheldrake Point Vineyardswill enjoy a vineyard tour or winery experience with the owner that corresponds with the harvest. followed by their wine tasting paired with local cheese. - The group's favorite will be featured as part of your cooking class experience later in the afternoon. Alongside Chef Samantha, you will learn and discover the beauty of ingredients grown and locally Cooking with Chef Samantha Buyskessourced right here in the heart of the Finger Lakes. During the 3-hour class, you join Chef Samantha as she prepares and demonstrates the creation of a three-course meal featuring the local farm ingredients and wines experienced earlier in the tour. 2nd Annual Finger Lakes Cheese Festival
Sample all the cheeses of the Finger Lakes Cheese Trail in one place at this day-long family event at Sunset View Creamery just outside of Watkins Glen. Damiani Wine Cellars and Finger Lakes Art Coordination Present The 2nd Annual Plein Air Art Festival
2013 - The East side of Seneca Lake is known for great wines, exceptional local cuisine, and beautiful vistas that accompany each winery. As supporters of the arts, Damiani Wine Cellars, Atwater Estate Vineyards, Leidenfrost Vineyards, Sheldrake on Seneca, and ARTe invite art and wine lovers to the 2nd Annual Plein Air Art Festival.
Between 7am and 3pm on July 27th, 2013 the public is invited to visit each winery location to watch the artists live at work. Then after 5pm, an opening reception and silent art auction will begin at Damiani Wine Cellars in Burdett, NY. The reception runs from 5-9 and is open to all ages. Food from local farmers and food vendors, non-alcoholic beverages and wine tastings from each participating winery will be available. Enjoy live jazz while you browse and bid on the plein air art work produced that day. The silent auction will end at 8pm, however the festival will continue until 9pm. Come enjoy the sunset and join our celebration of local wine, jazz, food and art! A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, July 28th.
