Beaches & Parks

Sandy Bottom Beach Park is in the hamlet of Richmond on City Route 36 and has a picnic area, swimming, lifeguard on duty, fishing and walking trail.  

Marinas & Boat Launches

Sandy Bottom Beach Road has a gravel ramp for car-top boats launching. A full-service Marina can also be found on East Lake Road, one mile south of Route 20A. 

Further down the lake is Honeoye State Marine Park, located at 6150 East Lake Road.

Things to do on Honeoye Lake

Harriet Hollister Spencer State Recreation Area located off Canadice Hill Rd has a pavilion and offers hiking, cross-country skiing, biking trails, and hunting. Overlook on the main trail provides a panoramic view of the Honeoye Lake.
