The Glenn H. Curtiss Museum is dedicated to Hammondsport, NY native and aviation pioneer Glenn Curtiss, recognized as the father of naval aviation and the prominent figure in the development of the U.S. aviation industry.

We showcase a broad array of artifacts and exhibits highlighting the technological innovations of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including: bicycles, motorcycles, aircraft, engines, and automobiles. Additional regional history include exhibits about: Hammondsport history, winemaking in the Finger Lakes, Mercury Aircraft Inc., the impact of major conflicts (Civil War, World War I, World War II) on Hammondsport and its residents, and much more!
