DESTINY USA HOSTS “GET HIRED!” JOB FAIR WITH IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE

Destiny USA is hosting a hybrid online and in-person job fair for over 50 open positions available starting Monday, April 19th

Starting today, Destiny USA is hosting a special "Get Hired!" job fair featuring more than 30 businesses looking to fill over 50 of part- and full-time positions. Available jobs vary and will be added daily to destinyusa.com/employment from a variety of tenants looking to fill open positions. Potential candidates can apply for everything from line cooks and assistant managers, to retail sales associates and store managers. These positions will add to the 5,000 jobs Destiny USA provides within Syracuse and Onondaga County.

How to Apply:

  • Online: Potential candidates can simply visit destinyusa.com/employment to review all current availailable job opportunities (new positions added daily.)

 

  • In Person:  Beggining today, potential candidates can visit Destiny USA and identify businesses that are hiring by spotting the special "Get Hired!" Job Fair sign in the storefront windows. Cadidates can then scan the QR code on the sign, which will bring them to Destiny USA's web page listing all available positions. In many instances, candidates can link directly to an online application and apply right from their smart phone. Some business window signs may also indicate that they have applications available inside.

 

  • Beginning Monday, April 26th, select businesses at Destiny USA will have a hiring table outside of their enternce to conduct on site interview on their date of choice. Interested applicants can visit destinyusa.com for designated dates and times for this opportunity.

Radisson’s expansive lobby along with Grill 1-2-5 and Steuben Bar will come alive once again with the sights and sounds of springtime joy at Music & Mimosas – Corning’s hit new monthly mimosa brunch soiree that launched in March to overwhelming accolade.   Guests of the second event on April 25th between 11 am and 2 pm can expect live music from a local Finger Lakes artist along with chef-crafted brunch specialties and a wide-ranging, innovative mimosa menu that promises to turn any Sunday into a fun day!  Featured mimosas include: Mermaid (Midori, pineapple juice, Blue Curaçao, Champagne), Hawaiian (pineapple juice, coconut rum, Champagne), Strawberry (orange juice blended with strawberries, Champagne), Bellini (Peach Puree, Champagne), Tequila Sunrise (orange juice, Patron Silver, Grenadine, Champagne) and others to compliment a star-stuffed ala carte menu, with house specialty items like: poached eggs with salmon fillet nestled on a bed of wilted arugula with prosciutto, Belgian waffle with butter milk fried chicken and spiced syrup, designer omelets, shrimp and grits, fried grit cakes with a Cajun style shrimp and sausage cream sauce, and much more.  Reservations are available by contacting the restaurant directly at 607.962.5000 ext 127.

Take a deep dive into Forces of Nature: Renwick Invitational 2020 with Nora Atkinson, Fleur and Charles Bresler Curator-in-Charge of the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and Guest Curator Emily Zilber. The exhibition focuses on four artists whose creative engagement with the natural world allows us to explore what it means to be human. We’ll pay special attention to two site-specific installations created using materials including fiber, glass and mosaic. These works examine the idea of environment in a broad sense and through physical engagement with the unique architecture of the Renwick Gallery.
