Join us on a guided tour of the newly opened Tompkins Center for History and Culture. You’ll have an opportunity to explore the history and architecture of the historic buildings that make up the complex, including the former County Clerk’s Office built in 1863 and the Ithaca Trust Company’s former headquarters completed in 1896. During the tour, you’ll be able to stroll through the old bank vault, peer into the upstairs offices and learn about their previous occupants, and walk through the space where Cornelia Ackley once sold books and stationery.
