The 1890 House Museum’s Summer Gala is sure to be a rip-roaring, lindy-hopping good time. Bust out your glad rags, and bring along your lucky charms, and hope you win big at games of chance. If you and your jelly bean have the password, you can get zozzled on the premier foot juice of the region while testing your luck at games of chance throughout the Museum. A live band will provide all the tunes you need in the Carriage House, whether you prefer the Charleston or the Foxtrot. Be on your best behavior – we don’t provide fire extinguishers, and no one wants the Bulls to show up. Between the hors d’oeuvre, giggle water, gambling, auctions, and music, there is something for everyone – even a Mrs. Grundy.*
Gambling with Gatsby Tickets are 50 clams per person – couples can purchase tickets for 90 berries. Tickets can be purchased through our Eventbrite site, or purchased through the Museum by calling (607) 756 – 7551. Purchase of ticket provides Casino chips for use at gambling tables, chips can only be exchanged for raffle and/or auction tickets.
