Father’s Day at Genesee Country Village & Museum means a host of special activities for Dads AND free admission.
To celebrate on Sunday, June 17, bring your dad to:
· Take in a vintage base ball double-header at Silver Base Ball Park, played by 1868 rules (before the introduction of gloves and other protective equipment). Games are at 11 am and 1 pm
· Try his hand at hewing a log and rail splitting
· Enjoy a generous free sampling of “Frozen Pudding”—ice cream with Madeira wine, preserved fruits and chocolate. (Chocolate ice cream for the kids with Dad.)
· Visit with the village tradesmen
· Indulge in the popular steak-and-ale pies and hand-knotted pretzels at the Confectionery.
· Test his mettle at deceptively difficult and delightfully fun table top games.
· Savor special maple-bacon springerles from the bread cart.
The museum is open 10 am-4 pm. Sunday admission is $18 adults/$15 seniors/$10 youth. Fathers and children 3 and under are free.
