Now in its third year, Historic Ithaca’s free Walk & Talk series brings you a taste of historic architecture and sites around Tompkins County through guided walking tours.
On Saturday, August 3, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., explore the historic St. Thomas Episcopal Church in the Town of Caroline. The tour will focus on the history of this 1893 late-Victorian rural Gothic Revival church, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Meet at 2720 Slaterville Road, Brooktondale.
Although the tour is free, registration is strongly encouraged at http://www.historicithaca.org/walk-and-talk/ so that we can send updates and notifications of any cancellations or weather-related changes.
The Walk and Talk series is sponsored by Tompkins Trust Company and the Tompkins County Tourism Program.
