Let's Chalk About It Again!

The City of Auburn, Auburn Downtown BID and the Finger Lakes Art Council are excited to announce the 3rd annual sidewalk chalk art competition taking place on Saturday, June 20, 2020 on the grounds of the NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center! It's free to participate and fun for the whole family! Pre-registration is required and it's first come, first serve as space is limited. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of 3 age categories (children, teen, adult) along with a new "honorable mention" prize added this year too! Update: This event is STILL happening! In light of the COVID-19 crisis, participants will be spaced adequately to maintain proper social distancing guidelines. Participants must also have a mask or face covering on their person which must be worn if/when event staff requests you do so. There will be no gathering or congregating allowed with people who are not part of your family or group. We encourage you to use your artwork as an opportunity to spread some messages of hope and positivity to Auburn!
