DESTINY USA HOSTS “GET HIRED!” JOB FAIR WITH IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE

Destiny USA is hosting a hybrid online and in-person job fair for over 50 open positions available starting Monday, April 19th

Starting today, Destiny USA is hosting a special "Get Hired!" job fair featuring more than 30 businesses looking to fill over 50 of part- and full-time positions. Available jobs vary and will be added daily to destinyusa.com/employment from a variety of tenants looking to fill open positions. Potential candidates can apply for everything from line cooks and assistant managers, to retail sales associates and store managers. These positions will add to the 5,000 jobs Destiny USA provides within Syracuse and Onondaga County.

How to Apply:

  • Online: Potential candidates can simply visit destinyusa.com/employment to review all current availailable job opportunities (new positions added daily.)

 

  • In Person:  Beggining today, potential candidates can visit Destiny USA and identify businesses that are hiring by spotting the special "Get Hired!" Job Fair sign in the storefront windows. Cadidates can then scan the QR code on the sign, which will bring them to Destiny USA's web page listing all available positions. In many instances, candidates can link directly to an online application and apply right from their smart phone. Some business window signs may also indicate that they have applications available inside.

 

  • Beginning Monday, April 26th, select businesses at Destiny USA will have a hiring table outside of their enternce to conduct on site interview on their date of choice. Interested applicants can visit destinyusa.com for designated dates and times for this opportunity.

Geneva Student Art Show Opens May 1

The Geneva City School District Student Art Show returns to the Geneva History Museum on May 1 and will be on view through May 29, 2021. The show will include works by students at West and North Street Elementary Schools, Geneva Middle School, and Geneva High School. Come enjoy works by Geneva's youngest artists.

Due to COVID-19, the museum is operating at a reduced capacity and has enacted safety measures, including social distancing and enhanced sanitizing and cleaning protocols. For the protection of our community, face coverings and social distancing are required in the building and capacity is limited.

The Geneva History Museum is located at 543 South Main Street. Summer hours begin May 1 and are Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is a suggested donation of $3. Colonial Belle Music and Dinner Cruise

The Colonial Belle has been traveling the Erie Canal in Fairport NY since 1989. Never has it traveled on Seneca Lake, until now! We are thrilled to have the Colonial Belle docking at Stivers Seneca Marine until Memorial Day Weekend.
Now is the chance to go for a ride on the Colonial Belle as it cruises Seneca Lake. Saturday May 1st, 2021 join us for a live music and dinner cruise on the Belle! Steak or Chicken Dinners and live music the entire cruise provided by Frankie Wheeler, a local favorite. The boat will leave Stivers Seneca Marine at 3:00pm and cruise until 6:00pm. Full bar on board for passengers to enjoy with alcohol, soda, juice and more!

Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, dinners will be plated, and dining tables will be spaced out on board. We are allowing for a limited number of passengers on this cruise, so grab your tickets right away to ensure a spot onboard!
