On Saturday, November 30 from 10 am-3 pm, wander through the rustic late-Autumn setting as villagers busy themselves with preparations for the coming season. Taste samples of traditional foods like mincemeat and roasted chestnuts, and see villagers demonstrate a variety of activities, including: candle making, spinning wool, and meat preservation. Activities for all ages and interests will engage visitors in traditional crafts and tasks of the late harvest time. Guests can also make and take home a seasonal craft for a small fee.
Visitors can enjoy lunch in the Historic Hosmer’s Inn or find drinks and light fare in the Banquet Center.
Admission $10/adult. Children 17 and under and GCV&M members are free! Please note that admission does not include the cost of crafts.
