The Mary Hunt House is a restored circa 1815 Greek Revival house built on land adjacent to the site of the first town meeting of Slaterville Springs, held in 1811. Great attention was paid during restoration of the house to maintain the many original features which include the wide pine floors, interior doors and hardware. Mary Hunt House B&B is beautifully decorated with antiques, quilts, family heirlooms and oriental rugs. Our goal is to help you feel relaxed and at home away from home.
At the Mary Hunt House you can relax and enjoy lively conversation with other guests in the parlor. Or you can sit back and enjoy the large wrap-around porch while watching the many species of birds that gather at the feeders. From the porch you can also see Six Mile Creek where you can walk along the shoreline and search for fossils.
Your stay includes a full breakfast served in the dining room. Breakfast includes freshly baked muffins or coffee cake, and will include the morning offering of farm fresh eggs, French toast or pancakes. Local and organic ingredients are used as much as possible. If you have dietary restrictions please let us know when you make your reservation.
