BELHURST CELEBRATES 10,000 WEDDINGS WITH A WEDDING CONTEST

Feb 13th, 2020

It’s a “Save the Date” like no other. Today, Belhurst is excited to announce a wedding contest – an all-expenses paid wedding to one lucky couple. The historic venue hosted its 10,000th wedding and received honorable awards from The Knot and WeddingWire last month. To celebrate? Belhurst is selecting one couple to win a wedding of their dreams. “We knew we wanted to do something special, something big to celebrate this milestone,” said Carly Morabito, Marketing Manager, Belhurst. “We’re asking couples to tell us their story and what a wedding at Belhurst would mean to them. When you think about how life changing this could be for a couple, it puts everything into perspective.” The fairytale doesn’t end there. Not only is Belhurst including a complimentary ceremony and reception, but additional vendors have joined in as well. Hair and makeup for the bride and one other of their choice will be provided by Belhurst’s Isabella Spa-Salon. In addition, photography from Tellier Studios, DJ services from Q Music Productions, flowers from Sandy’s Floral Gallery, officiant services from This Day Forward, and cake/desserts are part of the wedding contest package. “Our events team has worked with these incredible vendors year after year,” said Carmen Brennan-Bain, Events Manager, Belhurst. “When plans started forming, we knew getting other vendors involved would be something extra special. They’re highly reputable in the industry and we all have the same goal – to make someone’s dream come true.” Couples interested in entering the wedding contest can do so on Belhurst’s website at www.belhurst.com/weddingcontest. The deadline to enter is May 14, 2020. Belhurst will choose three finalists who will be required to meet with Belhurst owners Deb and Duane Reeder and the Belhurst management team. The winner will be determined and announced shortly after the in-person interview. “The wedding giveaway is our small way of saying thank you,” said Deb and Duane Reeder. “To host 10,000 Belhurst weddings we’ve seen it all – big to small, buffet to plated dinners, arriving by horse drawn carriages to seaplanes and firetrucks – we wanted to do something special.” For more information regarding the wedding giveaway contest, how to enter and rules and regulations, visit www.belhurst.com/weddingcontest
