Big Changes Coming: How New York State’s Climate Plan Could Impact You, Tompkins County Virtual Program on April 13 at 5:30pm

 

The Tompkins County Climate and Sustainable Energy advisory board will host a virtual event on April 13, 2022 at 5:30pm regarding the scope and plans from New York State on climate action.

 

The event will include a presentation by New York State's Department of Environmental Conservation Assistant Director for the Office of Climate Change on the scoping plan developed by New York's Climate Action Council. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session to help give community members the information they need to help shape the plan before adoption at the State level.

What you need to know:  NYS Climate Action Plan Draft Scoping Plan has been released and is open for public comment, until June 10, 2022. There are multiple times to sign up for public comments throughout NYS and virtually. You can also fill out this form to record your comments.
