Bristol Mountain Resumes Snowmaking Operations

Dec 07th, 2020

CANANDAIGUA, New York (December 5, 2020) –

Bristol Mountain resumed snowmaking operations this evening at 7:56pm, hoping to take advantage of the colder temperatures this weekend and early next week.

“With the colder temperatures over the next couple of days It looks like we will have a snowmaking window,” stated Mountain Operations Manager Paul Trippi. “We plan on running the guns as much as we can in our push towards getting the mountain open for skiing and riding”.

Bristol’s expansive snowmaking capacity covers 100% of its terrain providing consistent conditions for outdoor fun all winter long. Earlier this year Bristol Mountain’s Snowmaking Crew were recognized as the winner in the 2019-2020 HKD Snowmakers and Ski Area Management Magazine “I AM a Snowmaker” nationwide contest, an industry award that highlights the hard work, determination and camaraderie of snowmakers, and recognizes how critical they are to the success of their resorts and the ski industry.

Bristol Mountain will continue to capitalize on cold temperatures over the coming days and nights to make snow whenever possible as conditions permit. The Mountain looks forward to opening and being able to provide a fun outdoor experience on their vast grounds of over 138 skiable acres.
