Fairport, NY: Casa Larga, Rochester's Winery, is proud to present the official wine of the 2013 Lilac Festival, Lilac Hill. Noted for its floral characteristics and unique blue bottle, this wine has served as a key symbol of Rochester's lilacs since its creation in 1994.
Lilac Hill is a smooth and mildly sweet white wine, with a floral nose and refreshing citrus characteristics. Produced from a proprietary blend of Riesling and Cayuga, the award winning wine is a "Festival Classic."
Casa Larga is proud to be part of the Rochester tradition of the Lilac Festival. The Colaruotolo family is honored to participate in this historic annual event. To commemorate the 2013 Lilac Festival, Casa Larga will produce a limited quantity of special labeled Lilac Hill wine. The bottles will don the official design of this year's festival, created by Amy Margolis and will be available throughout April and May at Casa Larga's Wine Shop in Fairport, as well as at select liquor stores (available in 750 and 1.5 sizes), or by the glass or bottle at local restaurants.
In addition, Lilac Hill will be available by the glass throughout the festival at festival bars. The wine will also be available at the Wine and Chocolate Tasting at the Lilac Festival for sampling and purchase, presented by Casa Larga from 4:00-8:00pm on May 14, 15 & 16.

Lilac Festival Happenings at Casa Larga Vineyards:
- May 1-31 - New Lilac Hill Wine Freezes, a wine slushie made with the Lilac Hill wine, will be available at the Casa Larga Wine Shop to enjoy on the patio. $5 per Freeze.
- May 10-21 - Complimentary Lilac Festival Wine Tours leaving at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm at the winery.
