Corning, NY—Corning’s Gaffer District is pleased to announce that Chemung Canal Trust Company is the returning as the presenting sponsor for GlassFest for the tenth year.
Held throughout Downtown Corning between May 23-26 GlassFest10 is a four-day celebration of glass featuring hot glass shows, artists, vendors, live music entertainment, fireworks, and business promotions throughout the Gaffer District.
Chemung Canal Trust Company became the presenting sponsor of the inaugural GlassFest in 2010 and has played an integral role in the event’s overwhelming success since. GlassFest continues to receive rave reviews from glass artists, collectors, and visitors—many of whom travel to Corning from locations throughout the United States and the rest of the world.

Named an American Bus Association Top 100 Event for three consecutive years and with attendance from visitors and locals expected to be at an all-time high, Gaffer District and Chemung Canal officials are planning for the popular event to bring even more excitement and recognition to Corning’s Historic Downtown this year.

The 10th annual GlassFest will kick off with the celebrated Glass Ribbon Cutting ceremony at the Corning Museum of Glass at 5:30 pm on Thursday, May 23rd is free and open to the public.
