COME ENJOY A MOTHER’S NIGHT OUT IN WATKINS GLEN DURING MAY’S FRIDAY ON FRANKLIN

Apr 23rd, 2018

Watkins Glen, NY – Mother’s Day might be one day, but we think they should be celebrated all month long. So, we’re kicking things off with a Mother’s Night Out theme to our May Friday on Franklin event on Friday, May 4 from 5-8pm in downtown Watkins Glen! Here are the participating businesses and the local products they’ll be showcasing:

  • Colonial Pottery and Creamery featuring wine tasting by Lakewood Vineyards
  • Inner Peace Floats featuring wine tasting by Hector Wine Company
  • Famous Brands featuring wine tasting by Idol Ridge Winery and local cheeses from Sunset View Creamery
  • Watkins Glen Wine & Spirits featuring craft spirit sampling by Finger Lakes Distilling
  • Franklin Street Art Gallery featuring wine tasting by Fulkerson Winery
  • Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce featuring locally-roasted coffee by Seneca Sunrise Coffee

Plus, don't forget The Sweats will be rocking the courtyard at 200 N. Franklin Street (between Glen Mountain Market and GRAFT wine + cider bar). Or in the event of cold or rainy weather, they'll join us inside the Chamber.

Also setting up at the Chamber will be a group of direct sales consultants, including Crystal Moran with Steeped Tea, Stacie Willett with Keep Me Safe Organics, Mendy Thorsland with Norwex, Julie Babcock and Mary Rose with Young Living, and Kristina Cummings with ThirtyOne Gifts. This is a great opportunity to try out some of the products you see so much about online in a casual and fun environment. It's also a great time to pick up a gift for mom!

It's just $10 to participate in the fun and moms receive $2 off their ticket price! Begin at the Chamber (214 N. Franklin Street) where you'll get your tasting glass, wrist band, and map of stops - then head out on your way tasting, sampling, and rocking through downtown! Friday on Franklin is a great way to kick off the weekend, all while supporting downtown shops and local businesses.

This event series is organized by the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Elmira Savings Bank. For more information, visit: www.watkinsglenchamber.com/friday-franklin.
