Cortland Repertory Theatre is announcing our Cortland auditions dates for our 49th Annual Summer Season in 2020.
Auditions will be held at Cortland Repertory Theatre DOWNTOWN 24 Port Watson Street, Cortland. Auditions are also tentatively planned for New York City in February; dates to be announced after our Cortland auditions. Check our website for updated information soon.
LOCAL YOUTH AUDITIONS
For boys and girls 10 - 18 years old and for ensemble roles in Big River and Finian's Rainbow.
We are actively seeking boys and girls of all types, races and nationalities. Some previous experience or training in singing and/or movement/dance is preferred but not necessary.
YOUTH Auditions will be held THURSDAY, January 23 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. At 7:00 PM, we will conduct a call-back movement/dance call in which a dance combination will be taught to those individuals asked to stay to dance.

LOCAL ADULT AUDITIONS
ADULT AUDITIONS WILL BE SCHEDULED ONLINE ONLY.

Friday, January 24: 9:00 - 4:00
Saturday, January 25: 9:00 - 4:00
Sunday, January 26: 9:00 - 4:00
Dance callbacks for Big River, Finian's Rainbow and Hair will be held at the end of each day, starting at 4:00 PM. All roles, including the 12 available Performing Intern positions, will be in consideration at this audition.

NOTE: The Fingerlakes Musical Theatre Festival / Merry Go Round Playhouse, which is roughly 45 minutes from Cortland, will be holding their auditions this weekend as well. Visit their website for more info.
Plan to visit both while you are in the area! However, it is best to plan a separate day for each audition, so as to not conflict with possible
same-day callbacks.
