Damiani Wine Cellars Let's Help World Central Kitchen in Ukraine

Mar 31st, 2022

WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN FUNDRAISER
LET'S HELP UKRAINE'S REFUGEES

This weekend, Friday, April 1 through Sunday, April 3, Damiani Wine Cellars will donate 25% of tasting room and online wine sales to World Central Kitchen, the amazing organization founded by Chef José Andrés to get cooks and food to the places and people that need it, be it natural disasters or, in this case, feeding refugees from Ukraine.

But wait. It's not just us. You must read on because this is a rare opportunity to turn $25k into $100k in donations.

How does $25k turn into $100k?

This effort is being done in conjunction with Lindblad Expeditions, founders of eco-tourism and National Geographic partners. The company itself is matching funds 2 to 1. If we and our friends in the Finger Lakes donate up to $25k, that will turn into another $50k!

But that's not all. Sven and Kristin Lindblad are personally matching funds 1 to 1. That same $25k donated will be matched for another $25k.

Pulling out the old abacus, that's $25k in winery donations + $50k matching by Lindblad Expeditions + $25k matching by the Lindblads themselves.

But we don't get to maximize this donation unless we and other participating wineries reach $25k in donations.

What do you have to do?

Buy wine this weekend.

That's it. And to make it even more compelling, we are releasing not one, but TWO Rosés this weekend: 2021 Dry Rosé and 2021 Bouquet Rosé. We will be pouring both at the tasting room or you may order online.

We will send you a reminder email on Friday morning to let you know the clock has started. Until then, mark your calendar or start your trip planning to visit us this weekend.

Thank you for considering this opportunity. We think it's a win-win. You get fantastic wines and money is donated to World Central Kitchen to help people in need.
May we all open a bottle and consider ourselves lucky.

Cheers,
The Damiani Team
