2019 CHARDONNAY RESERVE
PAIRING: DADS & GRADS + LOBSTER & KING CRAB
The nose alone on this beautiful straw-colored delicacy is enough to rock you back on your heels. Vanilla buttercream & soothing Gardenia combine with star fruit and pineapple for a mouth-watering aroma. The palate combines these notes as well as tart apple ala Bramley’s or Calville Blanc d’Hiver, and just a hint of lychee, slate, graphite and delicate French oak. The lingering finish combines the tingle of pineapple, the bright tartness of those lovely apples and the gentle tannins of French oak.
While our regular Chardonnay spends nine months in 3-5 year old French oak, our Reserve spends 14 months in new French oak giving it that buttery, vanilla and toast profile that Chardonnay lovers adore. We suggest grabbing six or a case as this wine has significant aging potential. Plus, you'll be among the first on the planet to have this wine in your collection.

Aromas of spring wildflowers combine with gentle chervil notes and the lightest hint of clotted cream and soft, delicate oak. The palate is a delight! Pears and melons, specifically hints of both Bosc and Hosui pears, cantaloupe and honeydew melons linger in the tongue bringing a bright, fresh fruitiness to this gently oaked Chard. The smoothest of buttery notes and the supple vanilla of oak soften the long, lingering finish.
