Every day the grass gets greener, the trees are blooming, and the tasting room is busier. Excitement is building not only for our upcoming year but for the new release of beautiful wines.
3rd Generation Fred Frank explains "The growing season in 2021 was more typical for the region with cooler temperatures and adequate rainfall. The wines from this vintage will have crisp acidity balanced by delicate fruit flavors providing great structure."
That quintessential character of the Finger Lakes shines through in our new 2021 releases. Like our 2021 Dry Riesling which offers dry, delicate, and elegant lime zest and mineral stoniness and our 2021 Gewürztraminer offers subtle and seductive aromas and a dry finish.
Two fan favorites, our fresh and unctuous 2021 Pinot Gris and our luxurious and rich 2021 Pinot Blanc, make their return. We experimented with aging a small portion of the Pinot Gris in large 500-liter French Puncheon barrels and we love the slight nuance of oak.
And for those who love Rosé, our 2021 Dry Rosé of Blaufränkisch is back with a bit more oomph.
