Don and Skippy Raines were staunch supporters of our community, including Bristol Valley Theater. Both served as BVT board members for many years (Don as Treasurer) and tirelessly volunteered their time and talent. Each fall we honor the memory of this extraordinary couple with our Fall for the Arts Series. They left an inspiring legacy of community service to the arts, to environmental causes, and to others.

In 1921, Naples-born playwright, Gilbert Emery made history as his play, The Hero, opened on Broadway. Join BVT, The Naples Historical society, and a cast of Naples icons for a staged reading of this family drama set at the close of the first world war and a glimpse into the history of the play and playwright.
