Armed Forces Day

On May 17, 1952, Geneva hosted an Armed Forces Day celebration in connection with Sampson Air Force Base. Begun in 1950, Armed Forces Day is celebrated the third Saturday in May.

Outside Our Doors

Explore Wayne County agriculture in the exhibit Hometown Grown: 200 Years of Agriculture at the Newark-Arcadia Historical Society. Exhibit closes in June.

Annual Support Campaign

Whether it's through collections, exhibits, programs, or digital content, we tell Geneva's stories. It takes $1,100 a day to operate the Historical Society and maintain our three properties. To continue sharing and preserving Geneva's stories we need your help, and we ask you to contribute to the Annual Support Campaign. Every contribution, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated. Each gift ensures that Geneva's stories are part of our present and future.
