Our weekly blog articles examine various aspects of Geneva’s stories. In our most recent blog, archivist Becky Chapin explains what a finding aid is and how it helps researchers find our stories.

Spring Support Campaign

Henry McDonald was one of the first African-American professional football players, and later played professional baseball in the Negro National League. Locally, he coached football at DeSales High School, worked as a trainer at Hobart College, and officiated Little League baseball games.

Henry is one of Geneva's innovators profiled in our latest exhibit. His story is part of Geneva’s rich and diverse history. Whether it is through programs, exhibits, collections, or online content, we tell Geneva’s stories. To continue sharing these stories, we need your help, and we ask that you to contribute to our Spring Support Campaign.
