Spring Support Campaign

In 1933, Florence Stewart (1893-1983) established Lochland School to educate children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Widely recognized as a pioneer in the education of children with developmental disabilities, Florence served as Lochland’s Executive Director for over fifty years. The School has evolved to offer residential and day opportunities.

Florence is one of Geneva's innovators profiled in our latest exhibit. Her story is part of Geneva’s rich and diverse history. Whether it is through programs, exhibits, collections, or online content, we tell Geneva’s stories. To continue sharing these stories, we need your help, and we ask that you to contribute to our Spring Support Campaign.
