Rochester, N.Y., January 17, 2018—The George Eastman Museum is offering free general admission beginning today and until the end of the government shutdown to all federal employees impacted by the shutdown and their families, including tickets to evening film screenings at the Dryden Theatre.

Tuesday–Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
(Closed Mondays)
Dryden Theatre
Tuesday–Saturday: Films begin at 7:30 p.m. (unless otherwise noted); Doors open at 6:45 p.m.
“Although we can’t end the government shutdown, the George Eastman Museum and the Dryden Theatre welcome those adversely affected to enjoy a cultural escape during it,” said Bruce Barnes, Ron and Donna Fielding Director, George Eastman Museum.
Federal employees and their families will receive free admission by presenting a federal employee ID at the Lipson Welcome Center and/or the Dryden Theatre box office. The George Eastman Museum offers free admission daily to SNAP cardholders and their families and active duty military and their families.
