The George Eastman Museum presents its Garden Vibes Concert Series in June

May 16th, 2019

Rochester, N.Y., May 16, 2019—The Garden Vibes summer concert series will return to the George Eastman Museum this summer with a condensed schedule in June. A major construction project will begin on the museum’s historic Colonnade in July, limiting access to the Terrace Garden and East Vista. The museum will host the outdoor concerts on June 12 and June 19, prior to commencement of construction.

In an effort to preserve the gardens at the National Historic Landmark estate, the museum will host the concert series on the Vista, located on the east side of the mansion next to the Terrace Garden. Concertgoers may bring a picnic or purchase food on-site from Dinosaur B-B-Que, Effortlessly Healthy, or the Eastman Museum Cafe, and BYOB. Concerts are from 6 to 8 p.m.; gates open at 5 p.m.

Garden Vibes 2019 lineup

June 12               Honeysuckle
Named Best Folk Artist at the 2018 Boston Music Awards, Honeysuckle is a progressive acoustic trio that blends traditional instrumentation of bluegrass and folk with modern effects, beautiful songwriting, and masterful, intricate arrangements. Hailing from Asheville, NC and Nashville, TN, these veteran acoustic musicians have collectively earned top accolades in bluegrass, Americana, and jazz.
