Get Your Ticket for Gobble ‘N Go For immediate release Auburn, NY (10/3/22):

WHAT: A downtown Auburn eateries, breweries & shops food and beverage crawl to support innovative grants for educators in Auburn Enlarged City School District. Enjoy delectable samples as you visit a dozen participating venues.

WHEN: Saturday, October 22 from 1 – 6PM

WHERE: A.T. Walley Co., Knights of Columbus, Mesa Grande Taqueria, Moondog's Lounge, Next Chapter Brewpub, Parker's Grille & Tap House, Prison City Pub & Brewery, Refinery Modern Fare @ Hilton Garden Inn, Regenerations, Rudolph’s Sugar Shack, Shepherd’s Brewing Co., and 3Leaf Tea @ Zen Den Studio.

WHO: This 5th annual event is presented by Auburn Education Foundation & sponsored by the Refinery @ Hilton Garden Inn, The Citizen, Savannah Bank, Wegmans, Jacobs Press, Knights of Columbus, Big D’s Limo and Auburn Downtown BID. HOW: Tickets are $30, advance sale only. To purchase online please visit https://auburnedfoundation.org/events/#upcoming. Or stop into the Equal Rights Heritage Center, 25 South Street; the retail shop Regenerations, 101 Genesee Street; the Knights of Columbus, 47 Market Street and the Harriet Tubman Administration Building, 78 Thornton Avenue. Payment forms are cash & check payable to Auburn Education Foundation. The ticket price includes all food samples and Knights of Columbus dinner buffet, and beverages are available for purchase.

STARTING POINTS: Participants must bring a receipt or ticket to designated starting points to receive an event wristband. Start locations include Refinery Modern Fare @ Hilton Garden Inn, and Mesa Grande Taqueria inside Genesee Mall. With your wristband, you may proceed in any order you wish.

EVENT MAPS & PRIZES: Maps will be dispersed, listing venue addresses and offerings. Everyone needs an advance purchased ticket to participate, and all ages welcome. Photo ID requested if patrons wish to purchase alcoholic beverages. Professionally painted “Gobble Rocks” will be hidden at all participating venues. Find one and win a $25 gift card, limit 2 per person. Happy hunting!

FOOD & BEVERAGE: Samples vary from place to place, highlighting each business’s menu or specialty. Many venues are pairing small pour beverages to complement the food samples.

Refinery Modern Fare @ Hilton Garden Inn is serving pizza logs and chicken cordon blue bites, plus small draft pours of any tap beer for $5. Mesa Grande Taqueria is serving Birria Tacos. Shepherds Brewing Co. is serving beer cheese & potato soup and Sheptober Fest Lager and Ghoulish Gourd Pumpkin Ale pairing samples for $3.

Parker's Grille & Tap House is serving Grandma’s meatloaf paired with a small pour Honeycrisp Mule for $4. A.T. Walley is serving pork belly sliders and Simple Roast Pumpkin Cold Brew for $4. Moondog’s Lounge is serving cheesy potato & bacon soup and a Gobble Guzzler mini cocktail for $3. Plus, enjoy live music by Joe Henson & Taylor Price 1 – 2:30PM and the Blast 3 – 5PM. Prison City Pub & Brewery is serving cheddar & ale soup and craft beers to pair for $3.

Regenerations is serving dessert samples. Rudolph’s Sugar Shack is serving pumpkin ice cream samples. Next Chapter Brewpub is serving a slice of woodfired pizza and a 5oz pour of Pumpkin Porter for $2. 3 Leaf Tea @ Zen Den Studio is serving mini matcha parfaits.

The last Gobble stop is the Knights of Columbus from 4:30 – 6PM (only). They are serving salad, appetizers, Swedish meatballs, sausage peppers & onions, chili, kielbasa & desserts. Plus, Gobble Rock prizes will be awarded and raffles.

TRANSPORTATION: Sponsor Big D’s Limousine Service will provide a shuttle for the event from 1 – 4PM. Stops are the Hilton Garden Inn, 3Leaf Tea, Genesee Mall (South Street entrance), Shepherds Brewing Co., and Prison City Pub & Brewery. Transportation will make a continuous loop in this order.
