Enjoy an Evening at The Cracker Factory
Geneva, N.Y.: Historic Geneva is holding a fall fundraiser on Thursday, September 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cracker Factory, originally home to the Geneva Cutlery Company. This building, like many in Geneva, tells a story. Razors, cutlery, and kitchen utensils are just some of the items that have been produced here. Today, The Cracker Factory serves as a furniture factory and event space.
Join Historic Geneva to celebrate this history at On the Cutting Edge: An Evening at the Cracker Factory. The evening will include a tour of the Miles & May Furniture Works and a private apartment, a talk by Historic Geneva Curator John Marks, and a pop-up exhibit tracing the building’s industrial history. The event will run from 6 to 8 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres will be served with a cash bar.
The Cracker Factory is located at 35 Lehigh Street in Geneva. Pre-sale tickets are $25 per person and $30 at the door. For tickets call 315-789-5151 or purchase on the event page at historicgeneva.org. Proceeds from the event benefit Historic Geneva.
This event is sponsored by The Cracker Factory.
Historic Geneva, formerly the Geneva Historical Society, tells the stories of Geneva, New York at the Geneva History Museum, Rose Hill Mansion, and Johnston House, and online at historicgeneva.org.
