Historic Geneva Opens New Crowdsourced Exhibit

Sep 24th, 2021

The Geneva Historical Society is now Historic Geneva. Same mission, new name.

New Exhibit Features Community Images of Homes

Geneva, N.Y.: The next edition of Historic Geneva's My Geneva is… crowdsourced exhibits opens Saturday, September 25, 2021 with My Geneva is… Home Edition.

Earlier this summer, Historic Geneva invited all Genevans, current and former, to submit photos of houses around Geneva from any time period and explain in just a few sentences what that house means to them. These submissions form the new My Geneva Is...Home Edition exhibit.

My Geneva Is...Home Edition will be on display at the Geneva History Museum through early January 2022.

The Geneva History Museum is located at 543 South Main Street. Summer hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is a suggested donation of $5. Parking is available on the street or in the lot at Trinity Episcopal Church.

The Geneva History Museum is owned and operated by Historic Geneva, formerly the Geneva Historical Society. Historic Geneva tells the stories of Geneva, New York at the Geneva History Museum, Rose Hill Mansion, and Johnston House, and online at historicgeneva.org.
