New Print The Willows for Sale
Geneva, N.Y.: Historic Geneva has a new art print for sale in the shop at the Geneva History Museum and online at historicgeneva.org. The willows featured in the print are trees which date to the 1890s, which grow along the lakeshore in Geneva. The Lake Road at that time was only 15 feet from the water. In the 1960s, the road was moved, but The Willows are still a beloved feature of the lakeshore. The Willows print is an original artistic rendition by Diego Melendez of an image from the Historic Geneva collection. The print measures 14 by 11 inches and sells for $28. All proceeds benefit Historic Geneva.
The print is for sale at the Geneva History Museum at 543 South Main Street and online at historicgeneva.org. The museum is open Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through October 31. Closed Mondays November 1 to May 1. Parking is available on the street or in the lot at Trinity Episcopal Church.
Historic Geneva, formerly the Geneva Historical Society, tells the stories of Geneva, New York at the Geneva History Museum, Rose Hill Mansion and Johnston House, and online at historicgeneva.org.
