History Happy Hour about Women in Geneva

Jul 15th, 2021

The Geneva Historical Society is now Historic Geneva. Same mission, new name.

A Brief History of Women in Geneva

Historic Geneva's History Happy Hours are back this summer! Join Curator John Marks for A Brief History of Women in Geneva on Tuesday, July 20 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Lake Drum Brewing. He will share a captioned slide show of historical images and information about women in Geneva.

Although women have been in Geneva from the beginning, their accomplishments have often been overlooked or deemed unimportant. This program looks at the changing roles of women over time and highlights some of the achievements of Geneva women. Come in any time, stay as long as you like! The slides will run on a continuous loop throughout the time. John will be available to chat and welcomes people with stories and photos to share for future programs.

Next month's History Happy Hour will be on Tuesday, August 17.

Lake Drum Brewing is located at 16 East Castle Street in Geneva, N.Y.

This is a Historic Geneva program. Call 315-789-5151 or visit historicgeneva.org for more information.
